A. Elizabeth Goings, Esq. is Of Counsel in the Miami office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. and has extensive experience in civil litigation, corporate law, contract negotiation, general counsel services, and construction law.
Elizabeth's legal career has been marked by a wealth of experience across various legal domains. She founded Goings Law Group, P.A. in Miami, FL, where she served as the Sole Shareholder since December 2014. Here, she managed all aspects of civil litigation cases, negotiates and drafts contracts, and served as general counsel to small and medium-cap companies. Elizabeth's expertise extends to corporate structure, licensing, governmental compliance (including cross-border transactions), taxes, labor & employment, liability, and litigation. Before establishing her firm, she held significant roles at various law firms, including serving as an Associate Attorney in Miami, FL, and West Palm Beach, FL.
Elizabeth's professional journey commenced after earning her B.S. in Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University. Following this, she ventured into non-profit fundraising, management, and economic development before obtaining her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami. In addition to her legal endeavors, Elizabeth served as a Case Management Consultant for the Office of the Attorney-General and Ministry of Legal Affairs in the Government of the Bahamas, where she advised on streamlining case and matter management protocols.
Elizabeth is licensed to practice law in Florida and the Southern District of Florida.
