Laura received her Bachelor of Art degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida. She then went on to complete her Juris Doctorate from Barry University in Orlando, where she now resides and works as an attorney for Resnick & Louis.
As an associate attorney, Laura managed numerous caseloads of 150+ PIP, auto-property subrogation, and coverage dispute matters from case intake to final disposition through settlement or dispositive motions with minimal supervision. Additionally, she conducted initial case evaluations, examinations under oath, and depositions. Throughout her career, Laura has gained experience in performing legal and factual research on potential defenses, develop and implement case strategies, propound and respond to discovery, while managing to attend hearings. Laura also prides herself on being able to demonstrate her significant writing experience as sole counsel on matters, including drafting reports and pleadings, and contributing to comprehensive motions practice such as drafting summary judgment
motions, motions to compel, nonstandard motions for sanctions, motions for protective order, and motions to strike.
Laura considers herself an out-of-the-box thinker who delivers fair and objective assessments of civil litigation.
