Lorraine Woodwark is a non-equity partner in California and focuses her practice in insurance defense, bodily injury defense, construction defense, employment, and other insurance defense proceedings. Lorraine's creative solutions and legal style have benefitted clients. In a full court, she was also proudly mentioned by Judge Herman Melville as the first attorney in Santa Barbara County to have successfully filed both a quiet title action and a Lis Pendens, a testament to her success and competence in the legal field.

Ms. Woodwark’s experience was the Director of Attorneys United for a Secure America (AUSA). Her role was to draft briefs and recruit attorneys nationwide to defend cases involving national security, businesses and the American people at the federal and state level. Prior to AUSA, for over 20 years, Lorraine worked as defense counsel along with some transactional cases that aided in her drafting of contracts and settlement agreements. She represented clients in real estate, corporate, insurance defense matters, employment, tort litigation, civil rights and constitutional law. Her versatility is evident in the fact that most of her cases were settled out of court or prior to a court ruling.

From 2005 through 2017, she served as a Pro Tem Judge Tempore in Santa Barbara County for: Small Claims, Temporary Restraining Orders (TRO's), Insurance Claims, Construction Defects, Unlawful Detainers and Traffic Court, to name just a few. On occasion, she is an arbitrator for FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).

Before becoming an attorney, Lorraine worked in private companies and later for government writing, drafting, writing, and editing legislation. In her free time, she loves to play with her furry friends, gardening, and portrays Mrs. Abigail Adams as "The first Second Lady and second First Lady of the United States." Audiences love the interactive style of Mrs. Abigail Adams, who speaks on various topics, including being a fine auctioneer for fundraising efforts.

Lorraine is admitted to practice in California, the District of Columbia, 5th, 9th and the 11th Circuits, along with a number of District Courts nationwide. She also served as a mediator for over ten years, successfully settling cases that saved parties time and money for a satisfactory resolution.
