Elizabeth Spaur is an Associate at the Las Vegas office of Resnick & Louis, P.C.. She began her career at the University of California, Los Angeles in their Legal Affairs Department. While there she assisted with claims related to state and local governance, medical regulations (such as EMTALA and HIPAA), personnel issues and personal injury and medical malpractice claims. After moving to Washington, D.C. she assisted with document preparation for regulatory review for multiple mergers and acquisitions before going to work for the Department of Veterans Affairs Board of Appeals where she reviewed veterans' benefits claims and prepared decisions for an administrative law judge. Since moving to private practice in 2007, she has handled various complex litigation matters including, but not limited to: HOA superpriority liens; corporate governance; construction defects; insurance defense; personal injury; products liability; asbestos exposure; and insurance interpleaders.
She earned are Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from American University in Washington, D.C. While in law school, she was the managing editor for the Washington Legal Quarterly and interned for the DC Public Defenders office in their Mental Health Division.
Elizabeth is licensed to practice law in the states of Nevada, and California as well as United States District Court of Nevada and United States District Court of the Northern District of California.
