Brad Sklencar is a Partner in the San Antonio offices of Resnick & Louis, P.C. and his practice covers a broad range of commercial and civil litigation matters. Brad has extensive experience in a wide variety of practice areas including attorney discipline and malpractice defense, banking law, business torts, commercial contract and transaction disputes, construction law, hospitality and retail defense, environmental law, labor and employment law, insurance defense, intellectual property, premises liability, product liability, professional liability/professional negligence (attorneys, accountants, real estate brokers, healthcare providers and other licensed professionals), and real property. Brad has successfully represented clients in both federal and state trial and appellate courts, as well as in all types of administrative hearings.
Brad has also obtained special competency honors by being Board Certified in both Construction Law and in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Brad has extensive experience representing all tiers of construction clients in the construction industry including owners, design professionals, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers on both private and public projects and for commercial and residential projects. Brad represents all tiers of parties in contract development, contract review, termination, alternative dispute resolution, and litigation if necessary.
Brad’s experience in Professional Liability and Professional Negligence Defense extends to many licensed professionals and disciplinary boards, including attorneys, accountants, physicians, nurses and other medical professionals, psychiatrists, psychologists, and other licensed professionals and tradespersons in claim disputes, professional negligence litigation and before disciplinary and licensing boards and governmental agencies.
Brad’s Labor and Employment Law practice also includes defending civil suits involving wrongful termination, harassment, age, race, gender or other discrimination under the State and Federal civil rights statues; administrative claim experience representing public and private employer and individual claimants before the NLRB, EEOC and TWC on labor practices, employment disputes, wage claims, and discrimination claims.
