Lynn Sharon has been practicing law for over 25 years and has an ‘AV’ rating by the Martindale Hubbell Peer Review Rating system. She began her legal career with the Broward County Public Defender’s office, litigating criminal matters from misdemeanors to complex felony cases. After her years as an Assistant Public Defender, she entered private practice with an insurance defense firm in Palm Beach County, and gained litigation and trial experience over several years defending cases over a broad spectrum of disputed civil issues, from construction defect and related building damage disputes to premises liability, slip and fall personal injury liability claims and other accident tort claims, to medical malpractice claims. She has worked with numerous different carriers and has handled many different areas of insurance coverages for insurers. Ms. Sharon has presented and participated in over twenty (20) jury trials, and handled matters to verdict in both state and federal courts. In recent years she has handled primarily first party property damage claims and disputed coverage issues in litigation.
She is licensed to practice in federal court in both the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida as well as all Florida State Courts. Ms. Sharon is also a member of the Animal Law Committee of the Florida Bar and has published articles relating to legal issues associated with animal protection.
