Ryan C. Schotter is a Partner in the Albuquerque Office of Resnick & Louis, P.C., where he practices principally in the areas of construction litigation, insurance defense, general liability and professional malpractice (attorneys, accountants, real estate brokers, healthcare providers and other licensed professionals). Before joining Resnick and Louis, P.C., Ryan practiced at an Albuquerque law firm where he represented individual and organizational clients in disputes before New Mexico courts and regulatory agencies. Ryan has also worked as trial attorney in New Mexico’s Law Office of the Public Defender and as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office.
Ryan grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and attended the University of New Mexico, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Ryan received his Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and served as the Managing Editor of the New Mexico Law Review.
Ryan spends his free time running and participating in local races. Ryan also enjoys Pilates, swimming, cycling, and generally being active. Ryan has an interest in astronomy and believes New Mexico red and green chile is good on everything.
Ryan is licensed to practice law in New Mexico.
