Michael R. Salinas was born in Weslaco, Texas, and attended Mercedes ISD public schools in the Rio Grande Valley. He graduated from Mercedes High School in 1990 as class Valedictorian. He obtained his bachelor's degree from Princeton University in 1994, and graduated from Baylor Law School in 1997.
He has been practicing law in Texas since 1997 and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in contract disputes, personal injury, construction defect, and probate litigation. He has experience representing contractors, school districts, and family businesses. His vast experience helps him evaluate cases for resolution or trial.
