Christopher Ridgeway, Associate


Christopher Ridgeway is an Associate in the San Diego office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. He has extensive civil litigation experience in real estate litigation, catastrophic personal injury/mass torts, municipal law, products liability, toxic torts, class actions, public utility law, and eminent domain/inverse condemnation. He began his career working as a law clerk for both the Orange County District Attorney and the Orange County Public Defender. After law school, Christopher litigated high-profile mass torts at a boutique firm in Carlsbad. In December 2012, he switched to the defense bar, broadening his skill set to include municipal law, real estate, civil rights and environmental litigation.

In 2015, Christopher opened his own practice in Vista, California, where he litigated premises liability, real estate agent/broker defense, land use, and commercial and residential landlord-tenant litigation. In 2021, Christopher closed his practice due to the economic downturn following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Between 2021 and 2024, Christopher litigated high-stakes probate and trust litigation, including elder abuse, fraud, real estate, and commercial litigation. Christopher has first chair experience trying numerous jury and bench trials.

Outside the office, Christopher enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children. Christopher enjoys nature and the outdoors, camping, traveling, and playing sports.
