Kalynne Proctor is an Associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. who practices in the areas of construction defect and other construction related litigation, first party property litigation, and other complex commercial litigation. Her practice also involves the representation of insurance companies in the analysis and litigation of complex insurance coverage issues.
Kalynne was named to The Best Lawyers in America “Ones to Watch” list in Construction Law (2022). Kalynne has significant experience representing contractors, subcontractors, and various design professionals in various aspects of construction litigation. Kalynne’s extensive representation of clients in the construction industry involve successfully defending against construction defect and workmanship issues, delay and other schedule related claims, payments disputes, and breach of contract.
Prior to graduating from law school, Kalynne was the Managing Editor for the Cleveland State Law Review where her law review article entitled “In the “Best Interests” of the Disabled: Legislating Morality and the Power to Initiate Support Orders for Disabled Adults in Ohio, was published. In addition, prior to graduating from law school, Kalynne also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Civil Litigation.
Kalynne enjoys screenwriting and acting, outside of practicing law, as well as competitive sports based on her former experience as a Division I college athlete in Basketball.
Kalynne is licensed to practice law in Florida and Ohio.
