Kenneth J. Peace is a Partner in the Phoenix office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. and has been providing quality legal services to his clients since 1997. He has a wide array of general civil litigation experience including, but certainly not limited to Insurance Coverage, Insurance Defense, Public Entity Defense, Transportation Defense, SIU, Contractual Claims, Risk Transfer, Premises Liability, Dram Shop, Commercial Litigation, Products Liability, Medical Malpractice, Consumer Rights Defense, Automobile Liability, Bodily Injury Defense, ,Complex Warranty Claims, Business Advice and Litigation, General Liability, First Party Property and Coverage, Bad Faith, Probate and Trust Disputes, Elder Abuse, and Trustee and Private Fiduciary Advice and Litigation. Ken joined Resnick & Louis three years ago and his experience and expertise have continued to grow and develop. Ken currently dedicates approximately 50% of his time handling general liability and bodily injury defense cases, many with exposure in excess of $1 million. Ken also is a Judge Pro Tempore and sits on the civil, probate and family law bench from time to time.

Over the past 19 years, Ken has focused his practice on litigation and resolving disputes as expediently and efficiently as possible. If the matter does lead to litigation, Ken is prepared to do what is necessary to get the best results possible. Ken has conducted numerous contested hearings, bench trials, and jury trials with significant appellate experience.

Prior to graduating from law school, utilizing detailed financial analysis, Ken traded fixed income securities for the largest clearing firm on Wall Street. Ken’s trading and legal experience have given him a foundation to understand complex financial and accounting issues, which he utilizes in practice today. Ken’s legal success stems from his dedication to finding an efficient and effective resolution of his clients’ disputed issues. Ken educates, counsels and guides each client through the litigation process so they can make informed decisions, and takes pride in building strong relationships with his clients. He not only understands the law but understands his clients’ present and future concerns and goals.

Ken has experience representing clients from individuals to Fortune 500 companies in state and federal courts, involving matters ranging from multi-billion dollar complex accounting/legal malpractice cases to car accident cases.

Ken has defended transportation clients in catastrophic injury, personal injury, wrongful death, and property loss claims and lawsuits on a local, regional and national basis. His experience includes handling all types of cases, from the multiple party catastrophic cases that demand a seasoned trial lawyer with decades of experience to the more routine case involving smaller or moderate exposure.

For construction clients, Ken litigates and resolves matters relating to additional-insured coverage, liability shifting like owner-controlled insurance programs (“OCIP”), excess insurance coverage, deductibles, self-insured retentions, and other issues that frequently arise in construction-defect litigation.

Ken enjoys playing his guitar, scuba diving, and spending time with his wife and two kids, and family.
