Paul A. Acker is a partner in the Las Vegas office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. Paul focuses his practice in all aspects of civil litigation including insurance defense, design professionals, A&E, bad faith, construction defect, third party liability, catastrophic and personal injury, first party property and coverage, automobile injury/defense, SIU, subrogation, medical malpractice, environmental/energy, products liability, and general liability. He has extensive trial, arbitration and mediation experience in both State and Federal Courts. Additionally, Paul has served as counsel for several environmental and energy matters with successful results.
Paul earned his Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and his law degree from Hastings College of the Law, University of California. He is a WICHE Scholar, a member of the Nevada Inns of Court, and clerked with the Organized Crime Strike Force in law school. He is currently admitted to practice in the State of Nevada, the United States District Court, District of Nevada, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
