Thomas J. Moses is an associate in the Dallas office of Resnick & Louis, PC. Thomas has been an insurance defense attorney for almost five decades, and over the course of his long career has garnered significant experience from his handling and involvement in litigating cases involving personal injury, premises liability, insurance coverage, toxic tort, professional malpractice, general liability, first party property and auto, wrongful death/catastrophic injury, Stowers, bad faith and DTPA claims, first-party homeowner’s litigation, UM/UIM matters, and commercial litigation. He has also defended doctors, lawyers, and dentists in grievances before their various disciplinary boards, and has prepared and successfully argued numerous law & motion matters, as well as writs and appeals.
Thomas was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana but relocated at a young age to Long Beach, California. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1981 from California State University, Long Beach; upon graduation, he was also accorded membership in the Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. He then received his Juris Doctor degree in 1984 from McGeorge School of Law/University of the Pacific in Sacramento, California; as he graduated in the top ten percent of his class, Thomas earned membership in the Order of the Coif honor society. While in law school, Thomas contributed an article published in the school’s law journal, the Pacific Law Review, and also was a member of the review’s Editorial Board.
Thomas became licensed to practice law in the State of Texas when he moved here in 1995 and has remained in active status since then.
