Brigitte Mayo is an established attorney in the Southern California area. After receiving her Bachelors of Arts at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1990, she graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, Sacramento, California in 1994. After law school Ms. Mayo served as an associate attorney in the Sacramento area focusing her practice on complex product liability, premises liability, construction defect, employment, environmental, toxic torts, professional liability, and personal injury. During her time as an associate attorney, Brigitte successfully litigated a wrongful death action against PG&E, and independently handled a federal court, multi-million dollar, product liability.

Brigitte then served as corporate counsel for Dehayes Consulting Group, drafting and analyzing employment and merger contracts, commercial leases, and loan documents.

For the past 18 years, Brigitte has furthered her career as a partner attorney, defending suits on behalf of individuals, businesses, and banks in complex civil litigation matters in state, federal, and appellate court; including construction, products and premises liability, allegations of breach of fiduciary duties, class actions, and environmental/toxic tort claims. In addition, as partner, she managed a large team of associates, paralegals, and assistants.

In addition, Brigitte serves as Judge Pro Temp for Placer and El Dorado County, as well as Vice President of the Board of Directors of Wellington Homeowners Association.

In her free time, Brigitte enjoys playing tennis, ranking in both junior and adult divisions in the state of California.
