Jane Olivas Matsuda is a Partner in the firm’s General Liability and Tort Litigation Practice Groups, where she concentrates her practice in the areas of general liability, premises liability auto and mass tort litigation. She has represented supermarkets, restaurant establishments, retail businesses, shopping malls business parks, and individuals, in premises liability cases. She has defended hotels, and homeowner associations in property damage claims involving fire, flood, and mold. She has successfully represented manufacturers of golf carts, trains, elevators, tires, and other products manufacturers in liability suits as well as in in mass tort litigation concerning blood products, diet drugs, asbestos and automobile roll-over cases.
Ms. Matsuda regularly represents individuals and companies, both large and small, concerning personal injury auto claims in state and federal court. She is highly skilled in resolving lawsuits in advance of trial, and has also tried cases to favorable verdicts for her clients. Ms. Matsuda also advises clients on a variety of issues including risk management. She is a member of the California Bar, California Lawyers Association, Litigation Section, and has also contributed articles to the Los Angeles Daily Journal.
