Miles Masog is a litigator whose practice serves clients in the construction and insurance industries. He is experienced litigating matters ranging from construction defects to insurance defense (including auto, medical malpractice, professional liability, A&E, general liability, design professionals, employment liability, D & O, personal injury, and products liability). Miles has both arbitration and trial experience in the areas of construction defect, insurance defense, and products liability. Miles takes an aggressive approach to resolving client issues in a timely manner, and turns to litigation when necessary. He helped draft the Response Brief in the Arizona Court of Appeals construction defect case, MT Builders v. Fisher Roofing, which resulted in a published opinion. Additionally, he helped draft the dispositive motion that ultimately evolved into the Supreme Court case of Yanni v. Tucker Plumbing, Inc. He also helped defend against Plaintiffs’ Writ of Certiori in the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court ultimately denying Plaintiffs’ Writ. Miles also drafted a portion of the Response Brief in the Arizona Court of Appeals construction defect case, Jokake v. Elward. Further, he worked on the Okland Construction Company Inc v. Zurn Industries LLC case. Miles drafted the underlying dispositive motion and reply and finalized and filed the Response Brief.

Before joining Resnick & Louis, Miles’ practice was focused on civil litigation, transactional business formation, business and estate planning, and business and real estate transaction law. Previously, while in law school, he served as an Assistant District Attorney at Ventura County District Attorney’s Office in California.

When he is not working, Miles donates his time to serve as an officer at one of the 30 largest charitable organizations in Arizona. Additionally, Miles spends time with his wife and three kids, and enjoys soccer, college football, and amateur astronomy, and making contributions in the Phoenix community.
