Andrew Kurpanek is a Partner in the Denver office of Resnick & Louis and focuses his practice on all manner of insurance related cases with a specific focus on first party and coverage case work and construction defect. Additionally, Andrew has significant experience in products liability defense, design professionals, A&E, surety, general liability, SIU/EUO, subrogation, auto liability, medical malpractice, premises liability, bodily injury, and high exposure wrongful death cases. Andrew has first chair trial experience in contract, real estate, and construction defect cases.
Andrew utilizes his experience and unique insight to ensure that he is an effective litigator and counselor at law. Andrew is dedicated to prompt and effective communication, timely evaluation and analysis of cases, and successful resolution of all claims asserted as quickly as possible.. If a resolution is not available, Andrew will do the necessary groundwork to ensure that his client will prevail if and when a case goes to trial.
Prior to joining us, Andrew served as counsel on cases ranging in value from $5,000 through $4,000,000+ with a focus on real estate and insurance based litigation. Andrew has litigated complicated real estate and civil litigation issues including motor vehicle accidents, construction defect actions, coverage disputes, contribution actions, premise liability act claims, mechanics liens for contractors and material suppliers, mechanics lien trust fund statute violation claims, adverse actions in bankruptcy involving issues of fraud and theft, and collections actions on contracts, notes, and personal guarantees.
Andrew received his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Andrew is licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado and Colorado District Courts.
