George Koons is a Partner in the Denver office of Resnick & Louis. He focuses his practice on the defense of general liability, products liability, medical malpractice, auto liability, premises liability, bodily injury, and wrongful death claims. George is adept at investigating and analyzing matters and providing his clients with an early evaluation of the issues, liability, and possible damages. He then works closely with them to develop a strategy for efficiently resolving the matter according to the client’s needs.
George has over 20 years of experience defending a variety of insurance and other claims brought against his small, medium, and large clients and has served as regional counsel for FCA US LLC (Chrysler, Jeep, Ram, Dodge) and Ford Motor Credit Company LLC. He has achieved numerous dismissals and summary judgments and tried dozens of arbitrations and court and jury trials with outstanding results. George was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award for Advanced Legal Writing, the American Bar Association Military Pro Bono Project Outstanding Services Award, and the Young Lawyer Award. George is a Marine Corps veteran.
