Carol J. Knoblow is a Partner in the Orange County office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. and is a results-driven attorney with over 25 years of litigation experience. She has defended numerous high exposure lawsuits, including wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases that involved burn, brain, orthopedic, and spinal cord injuries. Carol has defended a multitude of products liability lawsuits, with a particular concentration in medical products, recreational and gaming devices, vehicle parts, and farm related products. She has extensive insurance coverage experience, including the handling of declaratory relief, subrogation, bad faith, product liability, and indemnification actions. Carol has handled professional liability claims (attorneys, accountants, real estate brokers, healthcare providers and other licensed professionals). She has authored numerous coverage opinions in such contexts as failure to tender and voluntary payments. Carol has extensive experience in Transportation, Trucking and Logistics and third party liability.
Carol's cases involve worksite accidents and accidents involving third parties, including wrongful death cases. Carol also has experience with first party property and coverage analysis, general liability, commercial litigation, premises liability, automobile liability, aviation, hospitality & retail defense, as well as bad faith. An experienced trial attorney, Carol has also defended her clients in hundreds of mediations and binding arbitrations. Carol's past experience as a volunteer mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Courts has provided her with unique insight into the dispute resolution process. She has successfully resolved numerous lawsuits for clients who had low policy limits in the context of high risk cases.
Carol received her undergraduate degree from Allegheny College whereat she was an Alden Scholar and obtained her Juris Doctor at Pepperdine University School of Law.
A strong supporter of healthcare advocacy, Carol has served as a State Project Leader and member of the Elite President's Council for the National Patient Advocate Foundation and is a Red Cross Disaster Relief Volunteer.
She is licensed to practice before all of the Courts in the State of California, the U.S. District Court, the Central and Eastern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth District.
