Gabriel Gonzalez is a partner in the Rio Grande Valley office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. He is an experienced civil litigation attorney in federal and state courts in South and Central Texas. He has handled many automobile liability, trucking and transportation, construction defects, design professionals, A&E, premises liability, hospitality and retail defense, wrongful death, farm and ranch litigation, and first party cases. He has successfully defended cases at all stages, from pre-lawsuit through appeal. Prior to Resnick & Louis, P.C., Gabriel spent years as a partner at a South Texas insurance defense firm and as a felony prosecutor.
Gabriel graduated from Lawrence University (WI) prior to attending law school., where he received his B.A. with honors. Gabriel attended law school at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law) in Fort Worth, Texas, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. While Gabriel was in law school he was an Articles Editor for the Texas Wesleyan Law Review and received the Inaugural Justice James A. Baker Memorial Clerkship awarded by the Dallas Bar Foundation. He was an intern for then-Texas Supreme Court Chief Justice Wallace B. Jefferson
Gabriel is licensed to practice in all courts in the State of Texas as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas.
