Valerie Gatlin is an associate in the Orlando office and focuses her practice in general liability defense, vehicle negligence, and other civil litigation. Prior to joining Resnick & Louis, Valerie worked at a St. Petersburg, Florida based Plaintiff's firm in construction litigation and general negligence matters. She also has extensive experience in insurance defense, coverage and employment defense.
Valerie received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Relations and Political Science from Florida State University. She went on to graduate from Stetson University College of Law while participating in the Student Bar Association Summer Advisory Counsel and Part-Time Student Society and focusing her skills on civil and trial advocacy. She was recognized for her hard work and dedication to the legal field with scholarships including the Judge Edith M. Atkinson Scholarship and Judge Raphael Steinhardt Public Interest Scholarship.
Outside of the office, Valerie serves as a Guardian Ad Litem volunteer where she advocates for abused and neglected children.
Valerie is licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
