Howard Gaddis, Jr. is a Partner in the San Antonio, Texas, office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. Howard is formally educated and experienced in law, civil engineering, and business administration. He has litigation experience in insurance coverage, bad faith, insurance defense, bodily injury defense, premises liability, and dram shop liability. His civil engineering background lends to the defense of matters associated with the engineering, design professionals, and construction business.
Howard previously served as a managing board member and corporate counsel for Viper Petroleum. He utilized experiences in engineering and business to provide expert consultation on matters associated with Viper Petroleum. Howard ensured Viper’s compliance with all environmental and governmental laws and requirements associated with the petroleum industry as well as contract review and negotiation. He assured Viper’s operations fell within industry quality and compliance standards.
Prior to graduating from law school, Howard was a licensed professional engineer for a small firm in San Antonio, Texas. He was involved in all levels of engineering projects including preliminary planning, final project concept, budget determination, design, and bid and contract document preparation. Howard prepared plans, specifications, bid documents, pre-bid review of bids, contract negotiations, pre-construction conferences, and formally educated and experienced in law, civil engineering, business administration and coordination with State and Federal agencies.
Howard is an avid auto racing fan. He follows all auto racing circuits as well as the drag boat racing series. He loves to travel and is extremely fond of dogs.
Howard is licensed to practice in the State of Texas.
