Jack Fischer is a Partner in the San Diego office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. where he brings with him nearly 30 years’ of experience. His practice has been focused on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation including litigating disputes between insurers for declaratory relief, contribution, and indemnification as well as defending insurers in bad faith actions. He also has experience with real estate, personal injury, and elder abuse litigation. On the non-litigated side, Jack’s practice includes policy analysis, drafting reservation of rights letters, and drafting coverage opinions analyzing complex issues involving construction defect claims, products liability claims, environmental claims, professional liability claims, business torts, trucking claims, bodily injury claims, and priority of coverages under multiple lines of insurance and other risk-allocation agreements. His experience also includes analyzing cumis counsel issues and auditing defense counsel files to determine the extent of an insurer’s reimbursement rights. He has also participated in training California insurance adjusters on various aspects of Fair Claims Settlement Regulations.
Jack also brings with him significant contracts and risk management experience having previously been employed as a Contracts Manager with a leading consulting firm where he led all phases of contractual support on multiple contracts valued at more than $150 million. He developed strong working relationships with cross-functional subject-matter experts in developing contract scope and was an active member of a Risk Review Board tasked with responsibility for identifying and mitigating risk to contract completion.
When not at work, Jack enjoys spending time with his children, going on hikes, and trying to play guitar.
