Robert A. Edwards II is originally from Pensacola, Florida. He settled into central Florida in 2006 after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from Florida A&M University. While attending FAMU, he became a member of Alpha Rho Chi Fraternity Inc., a fraternity for students of architecture and the allied arts.

Prior to the start of his legal career, he spent 11 years in the management capacity, 6 as a masonry construction project manager and 5 as an operations manager for Avis Budget Group. During his tenure in his first career path, he managed and oversaw multi-million dollars masonry projects throughout the Florida peninsula; most notable are the City of Orlando Fire Station 1 and the OUC Building in Downtown Orlando. He has also had hundreds of employees under his purview as a Project Manager and Operations Manager for the respective companies.

After obtaining record profits in both areas of management, Robert felt a calling to assist people in a more meaningful manner and his wife encouraged him to pursue a career in the legal field. He entered the part time law program at Florida A&M University College of Law in the Fall of 2014 while continuing to work full time. While attending FAMU College of Law he was a member of the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association and was awarded the Gwendolyn S Cherry Scholarship for the 2015-2016 academic year. He obtained his JD in the fall of 2017 with Honors and was admitted to the Florida Bar in April of 2018.

During his legal career, Robert has successfully defended clients in construction defects and PIP coverage matters. Robert also seeks to assist individuals with legal matters in areas of construction, civil rights, business formation and negotiation, contracts, and intellectual property. Robert is a member of the Seminole County Bar Association and has participated in community focused workshops with the Seminole County Bar Association Legal Aid Society. In addition to the practice of law, Robert enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife and daughter. He also enjoys music, sports, and reading.
