Julia P. Cozad is a partner at the office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. and will focus her practice on civil litigation. Prior to joining Resnick & Louis, P.C. she worked as an in-house counsel for several insurance companies, handling first and third-party lawsuits in personal and commercial lines. Julia also represented insurance companies in property subrogation lawsuits, in addition to their defense of fraudulent claims with special investigation units. Throughout her legal career, Julia defended clients on matters involving personal injuries from medical malpractice, automobile accidents, trucking accidents, dog bites, slip and falls and premises liability cases.
Julia received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Boston University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and received her Juris Doctor degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City.
In her free time, Julia enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Julia is licensed to practice law in California and New York. She is pending bar admission to practice law in Arizona.
