Marie J. Cox is an associate attorney in the Miami office of Resnick & Louis P.C. Marie focuses her practice in construction defect litigation. Prior to joining Resnick & Louis P.C. Marie worked for insurance defense firms handling cases in construction defect, personal injury, premises liability, negligent security and motor vehicle accidents.
Marie earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography, with a minor in history, from the University of North Florida, and earned her law degree from Barry University’s Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. While in law school, she sat as Vice-President of the American Constitution Society, as well as earning honors in Environmental and Earth Law for her work researching and writing about the possible transgenerational epigenetic effects of environmental racism in the United States.
Marie is licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
