Alicia Bolyard is a Partner at the Charleston and Columbia offices of Resnick & Louis, P.C. and focuses her practice in the area of general civil litigation. Prior to joining Resnick & Louis, Alicia focused her practice on insurance defense, healthcare litigation, commercial litigation, and professional liability. Alicia began her legal career by serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Christopher D. Chiles where she researched and prepared the Court’s orders in a variety of areas including complex civil litigation, medical malpractice, products liability, tort actions, and employment law.
While attending law at Capital University Law school, Alicia received the the CALI Award for Excellence in Evidence, Pro Bono Honors Recognition Award, and the Students Giving Back to Students Scholarship just one of the ways she chose to give back to her community.
Alicia was born and raised in West Virginia where she practiced law until she moved to South Carolina last year to enjoy all that the Lowcountry has to offer. Alicia spends her free time with her husband and daughter soaking up the sunshine on the beach.
Alicia is licensed to practice law in South Carolina and West Virginia.
